CHINA Datang Corporation, a large state-owned energy company, plans to pour CNY80 billion (US$12.2 billion) onto developing Chaozhou, a river port in eastern Guangdong province, into "China's Amsterdam" as a fuel terminal to serve a yet to be built mega power station, Xinhua reports.
The company plans to build a energy resources base and logistics hub with annual throughput of over 100 million tonnes in Chaozhou.
Chairman of China Datang Corporation Liu Shunda recently met the official delegation from Chaozhou and said the company will deepen the cooperation with the city.
