Greek shipping line, Tiger Lines, will start calling at the New Container Terminal-1 (NCT-1) at Subic Bay Freeport in the Philippines starting in the second quarter of this year.

Tiger Lines will deploy a 750-TEU to 1,000-TEU capacity vessel for its planned bi-weekly service plying Subic, Singapore and Malaysia. The bi-weekly service is also a common feeder service, co-loading containers serviced by other shipping lines such as NYK, OOCL, Hapag Lloyd, Maersk and Evergreen.

In operation for almost 40 years, Tiger Lines is a joint venture company of Avin International S.A. and Zeniba Shipping. It joins APL and Wan Hai as SBITC’s key clients in Subic.

SBITC manages and operates NCT-1 in Subic Bay, Philippines. SBITC, a subsidiary of International Container Terminal Services Inc, has been serving the growing economy of the northern regions of the Philippines through world class container handling services in Subic since 2000.

ICTSI is a leading port management company involved in the operations and development of 21 marine terminals and port projects in 15 countries worldwide.
