Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company Terminal launched a new direct container service between the Chinese port of Shanghai and the port of Vostochny, the VSC press service reports.
Currently, the 673-teu Dintel Trader of SASCO (a new regular international line) will make calls at Port Vostochny once every two weeks. The container service is planned to be expanded to weekly calls.
LLC Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company is a container terminal in the Russian Far East, operating on the territory of Vostochny Port. DPW owns 25% of shares in VSC, Global Ports Investments Plc - 75% (GPI is part of N-Trance Group). As of now, VSC container terminal handles containerized cargoes shipped by global operators, including APL; CKL, KMTC, PCL; FESCO China Direct Line (FCDL); a joint line of Japan Trans Siberian Line (JTSL), Korean Soviet Direct Line (KSDL); MAERSK Line, Sinokor. Coastal lines of Kamchatka Lines Ltd, TEP and FML (FESCO Magadan Line).
