Saguenay Port Authority appoints new board member

OTTAWA, Ont. -- Jean-Guy Bergeron has been appointed to the board of directors of the Saguenay Port Authority for a term of three years.

Bergeron has close to 40 years of experience working in executive positions in various corporate environments, including 15 years as a distributor for Labatt Brewing Company Limited in Saguenay. Bergeron's leadership, his extensive experience in marketing, sales and management, as well as his practical know-how allowed him to make his mark in Saguenay-Lac St-Jean, according to a release. Bergeron is known for his personal commitment to numerous businesses and charitable organizations in the community, officials said.
