Brisbane: The Australian port of Brisbane remains closed to all shipping activities since midnight Wednesday as the flood calamity continues to pose dangers. The Brisbane port authority has been deploying its resources to clear debris and keep the port waters safe, it announced on Thursday. Power loss due to the flooding has been restored to Whyte Island, while Fisherman Island's power supply remains stable, it added.
