Vladivostok throughput up 41% in 11 months

Container throughput of Vladivostok Container Terminal for the 11-month period of the year surged by 41 percent over the same period of 2009 to 264,417 TEUs, reported SKRIN Newswire.

In November, container volume handled by the stevedore amounted to 25,056 TEUs, a seven percent drop month-over-month, and up 11.4 percent from the last year’s figure.

In Jan-Nov, exports handled by VCT reached 8,181 TEUs, imports totalled 8,771 TEUs, short sea trade 8,104 TEUs.
