Miami-based SeaFreight Line has introduced a weekly fixed day service linking Florida with Costa Rica and Nicaragua via Puerto Limón. The first sailing departed Jacksonville on December 6 and it will depart Port Everglades today (December 8) for the six day transit to Costa Rica. Nicaraguan cargo will be trucked overland to and from Puerto Limón.
SeaFreight Line operates six 1,100 teu and two 500 teu vessels between Florida, the Caribbean, North Coast South America and Central America. It is partnering with Grupo Tical to provide supporting services in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
