Global marine terminal operator DP World has completed the first phase of expansion of its Spanish terminal DP World Tarragona, reported Domain-B.
The terminal has three super post-Panamax cranes capable of handling vessels with a nominal capacity of over 13,800 TEUs.
The port has currently two Panamax cranes and a harbour crane that are already in use and the new cranes would boost the terminal's overall efficiency.
The new facility has a mooring line of over 800m and a rail terminal.
