Xian to become logistics hub for northwestern China trade

XIAN has established a 44.6-square kilometre international trade and logistics park to develop as a logistics hub for trades to northwestern China, Middle East and Europe, reported Xinhua.


The new trade and logistics park is five kilometres away from the new Xian administrative district, equipped with a new CNY680 million (US$100 million) intermodal rail terminal. A new CNY3 billion, 14.5-square kilometre port next to the Xian highway will also be built to provide additional logistics facilities to cater for increasing needs from both domestic and international markets.
