GUIZHOU, a poorer province in south west China, recently signed an agreement with Guangdong, the richest province in the southern region, to build a dry port in Guizhou, reported Xinhua.
Seventy per cent of Guizhou's traded products are imported from checkpoints at Guangdong. Thus, the Guangdong government has agreed to collaborate with Guizhou to set up a dry port located in Guizhou by consolidating the supervisory standards of two provinces, which include a united customs declaration, checking and clearance system, as well as a common intelligence platform.
