China's Dalian Port Co has resumed normal container operations after a fire broke out at the oil port at the weekend causing an oil spill, Xinhua news agency reported on Tuesday.
Container operations restarted on Monday evening, and in the 12 hours to 8 a.m. on Tuesday the port handled 11,000 20-foot equivalent units, it said.
The oil port and berths for dry bulk carriers were shut following the fire, sources have told Reuters.
