HK up 16.7pc in June to 2 million TEU, Singapore rises 14.2pc

FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled 2 million TEU in June, an increase of 16.7 per cent over the 1.7 million in June of last year.

Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported an 14.2 per cent increase in container movement in June, having handled 2.4 million TEU compared to 2.1 million TEU in June of last year.
