St Petersburg's First Container Terminal's first half up 31.7pc

ST PETERSBURG's First Container Terminal volume increased through the first half of the year 31.7 per cent to 554,072 TEU with June spiking at 99,280 TEU a rise of 32.7 per cent led by imports at 52,409 TEU and exports at 46,871 TEU.

In June the terminal's average turnaround per vessel was 1,360 TEU out of 73 vessels with the period of January-June this year handling 454,792 TEU (up 31.4 per cent), according to Russian Transport Daily Report.
