A visit of Swedish industrial enterprises delegation

In April 21-22 2008, a delegation of the representatives of Southern businessmen is visiting Klaipėda port (companies „Network Logistics“, „Brinova“, „Volvo cars“, „Green Cargo“ ) (Lithuania) as well as the representatives of Karlshamn and Helsingborg ports. The goal of the visit is to get acquainted with the possibilities and capacities of Klaipėda port, economic situation of the city and business development, real estate market, possible investments into the construction of logistics centres and real estate.

On the 21st of April 2008 (on Monday) Swedish delegation will visit Cruise vessel terminal , and during a boat trip on board of „Žaibas“ members of the delegation will be able to get acquainted with port waters and existing port infrastructure and superstructure. Later on Swedish delegation will meet the representatives of the companies ,,Hortus Investment” and ,,V. Paulius & Associates”.

On the second day of the visit 22nd April 2008 (on Tuesday), at the meeting in Port Authority there will participate the representatives of port authority, AB „Lietuvos geležinkeliai“ and UAB „Arijus“, Swedish delegation will be acquainted with the possibilities of Klaipėda port, capacities, present infrastructure and its plans and perspectives as well as the possibilities of transportation of cargo by railways.

After this meeting they are going to visit Klaipėda Free Economic Zone and Klaipėda Municipality.
