SOUTHEAST China's Qinzhou port in Guangxi province registered a 63.9 per cent increase in throughput to 9.18 million tonnes and made a 172.9 per cent leap in container volume to 81,000 TEU, reports Xinhua.
The port's cargo focuses on coal, oil, iron ores and foods. Entering 2010, Qinzhou's economy has stepped into a speedy development pace as ASEAN-China Free Trade Area is completed and Qinzhou Free Trade to be put into operation soon.
