Pilots who provide passage for ships on the River Clyde in Scotland on Thursday began a 48-hour action to protest management attempts to impose new working conditions.
The Pilots Group, represented by the Unite trade union, say they have been forced into action as a result of Clydeport management's persistent harassment and intimidation of the group through the use of unjustified punitive action.
The strike started Thursday at 6 a.m. and ran through 6 a.m. Saturday, affecting vessels entering Greenock Ocean Terminal and docks in Glasgow and Clydebank.
