St Petersburg's First Container Terminal May volume up 32.9pc

ST PETERSBURG's First Container Terminal volume climbed to 102,072 TEU during the month of May alone, 32.9 per cent up on the same period last year with imports led by 52,398 TEU and exports just below at 49,674 TEU.

The total throughput of the four-month reporting period from January to May 2010 climbed to 454,792 TEU, up 31.4 per cent year on year. The average turnaround of one vessel in the month of May totalled 1,418 TEU according to Russian Transport Daily Report.
