Slovenia’s Koper port gets second Far East line

Slovenia’s port of Koper has been connected with the Far East by a second direct container line.

The service has been established by four operators - South-Korea-based Hanjin Shipping and Hyundai Merchant Marine, Taiwan-based Yang Ming Line and Kuwait-based United Arab Shipping Company.

Vessel rotation will be Pusan - Shanghai - Ningbo - Yantian - Singapore - Colombo - Jeddah - Port Said - Alexandria - Mersin - Koper - Trieste - Rijeka - Venice - Port Said - Singapore - Hong Kong - Pusan.

The first direct container line between Koper and the Far East was jointly established last year by CMA-CGM and Maersk.
