Vladivostok box volume up 46pc for year through April

VLADIVOSTOK Commercial Seaport of Russia handled 83,784 TEU between January and April, in April the 21,568 TEU handled represented a 38.85 per cent year on year and month-on-month increase of 1.9 per cent.

April figures for exports came in at 7,839 TEU; imports at 5,677 TEU, coastal trade at 8,052 TEU, according to Russian Transport Daily Report, adding that 2,221 TEU was reefer.

The port handled 40 ships in March with an average turnaround per vessel of 539 TEU.
