Port of Sydney’s container trade up 14.7% to 455.500 TEUs in Q1

First-quarter container turnover at the Port of Sydney (Australia) reached 455.500 TEUs, up 14.7% from Q1, 2009, the Port Authority statement said. In March, the Sydney Port’s container count was at 149.000 TEUs.

The state-run Port of Sydney accommodates at its terminals and provides handling operations for tankers, general cargo and Ro Ro cargo carriers.
