Muuga gains CTQI certification

Muuga Container Terminal in the port of Tallinn is the both the first operation in the Baltic Sea and the very first feeder terminal to be assessed against the Germanischer Lloyd Container Terminal Quality Indicator (CTQI) standard.

The standard aims to be a cross-industry benchmarking tool for evaluating the quality and efficiency of container terminals.

The scope of certification at Muuga covered operational, technical and administrative processes for the maritime container terminal operations in respect to import and export container handling, transit container handling und container depot.
