St. Petersburg’s Princess Maria arrives at the port of Helsinki

Princess Maria ferry from St. Petersburg has arrived safely at the port of Helsinki. PortNews IAA correspondent reports the passenger ship is being currently moored at the Port’s pier.

It has been reported earlier that the yesterday’s Princess Maria maiden trip has opened regular ferry services on St. Petersburg - Helsinki line.

The ferry line is designed to carry 1,638 passengers and nearly 395 vehicles. ST. Peter line, the ferry service operator, expects the Princess Maria will be making 5 voyages a week from St. Petersburg and Helsinki. The ship has 606 cabins of various classes. The ferry will be leaving from Helsinki to St. Petersburg on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from St. Petersburg to Helsinki on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The ferry is expected to transport this year 500,000 passengers, including 200-300,000 foreigners who can benefit from visa-free entry to Russia for 72 hours.
