Danish port operator APM Terminals, which is part of the group A.P. Møller - Mærsk, is planning to expand on emerging markets in Africa, the Middle East and Oceania, Esmerk Danish News reported.
In these regions, container port activities have recovered to the same level as before the financial crisis.
Richard Mitchell, CCO of APM Terminals said the company is not planning to build new terminals in the expansive regions, but to find fast business opportunities in co-operation with customers.
