Itapoá chooses Navis

- Zebra Enterprise Solutions (ZES) has announced that Itapoá Terminais Portuários (ITP), a port located in Santa Catarina in the south of Brazil, is to implement NavisTM SPARCS N4 to help better manage cargo shipments.

SPARCS N4 integrates gate-to–yard-to-vessel operations and, according to the company, will allow ITP to provide better customer service by lowering administrative, support and operating costs, improving yard utilisation and stacking yard capacity, optimising vessel planning and increasing flexibility and business intelligence

ITP will be the first site in Brazil and the 32nd in Latin America to utilise SPARCS N4 and implementation will begin in the third quarter of 2010, with plans to go live by 2011.
