WESTERN China Xian's railway container and bonded logistics centre are to be completed in the first half of this year, Logistics Week reported.
Being part of the first phase project of Xian Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the Xian Bonded Logistics Centre started construction in June last year, and is soon to commence operation after the acceptance inspection by the state officials.
The Xian Railway Container Terminal is also soon to be up and running with an annual cargo volume of 23 million tonnes, relieving the city's heavy railway cargo traffic.
The two facilities are to offer sea-rail intermodal to port cities when they become operational.
