TCC nominates terminal operators

- The Containership Company has selected Taicang International Gateway (TIG), located in Jiangsu and TraPac Container Terminal in Los Angeles for its new "Great Dragon" no-frills port-to-port service between China and the USA, which enters the Trans-Pacific trade on Saturday (17 April).

A subsidiary of Modern Terminals, TIG’s proximity to several key point-of-manufacturing hubs in China will allow shippers to avoid congestion and reduce haulage costs by reducing inland transit time.

The Great Dragon service is expected to generate 250,000 teu annually between Los Angeles and Taicang.
