Western Shenzhen's Shekou CT welcomes two new services

CHINA Merchants Holdings International (CMHI) has announced its Shenzhen Shekou Container Terminal (SCT) is to welcome inaugural callings from CSCL Tokyo on the China Vietnam Express (CSX) service and Pacific International Lines' (PIL) Kota Labaai on the jointly run Far East Europe Service (FES).

The new CSX will deploy four 900-TEU ships, calling at SCT every Wednesday with the following port rotation: Ningbo, Shanghai, Shenzhen-Shekou, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Guangzhou-Nansha, Ningbo and back to Shanghai with four-days transits from Shekou to Vietnam.

The Far East Europe Service (FES) is run by PIL and Wan Hai, and deploys nine 4,250-TEU vessels. PIL and Wan Hai will each operate four vessels while the ninth vessel will be jointly deployed.

FES westbound voyage and eastbound voyage will both call at SCT every Thursday with following port rotation: Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Shekou, Guangzhou-Nansha, Singapore, Port Kelang, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Port Kelang, Singapore, Shenzhen-Shekou and back to Shanghai.
