New general manager at SCT, Oslo

- Belgium-based Delphis Group has appointed Fred Kamperman as general manager of the Sjursøya Container Terminal (SCT) in Oslo. Previous he has held the posts of terminal manager for the Baltic Container Terminal in Riga and general manager of the new DCT container terminal in Gdansk.

Delphis acquired the container terminal activities of Norsteve Oslo in October last year and established the SCT company as a 100%-owned subsidiary. The terminal, with a capacity to handle 143,000 teu, has a 305m quay with 12 m depth alongside, served by two ship-to-shore gantry cranes.
