Cargotec delivers to St Petersburg

- Cargotec has delivered ten of 12 Kalmar icon TR618i terminal tractors ordered by the newly-built Container Terminal at the Seaport of St Petersburg.

The order, only announced now, was placed in Q4-2009. The remaining two units and one Kalmar DCF 90-45E7 empty container handler, with a lifting capacity of 9 tonnes and a total container stacking height of 7+1, are scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of this year.

Considered Europe's gateway to Russia as it is the country's largest industrial and transport centre, St Petersburg’s new greenfield container terminal is set to open this spring.
