Ports of Stockholm reports passenger record

A total 12.1 million passengers travelled with ferries and cruiser ships to and from Ports of Stockholm ports in 2009, Logistics Finland reports. This is a new record high for the company. Cruising traffic rose by 23% to 447,000 visitors and ferry traffic by 3%. The largest route is still Stockholm–Åbo, while the largest growth was reported for the Stockholm–Riga route, up 40%, and Kapellskär–Mariehamn, up 17%.
