The Port of Riga board to cancel lease contracts with debtors

The board of Authority of the Riga port (Latvia) said they had sent letters to companies leasing the port’s territory they would cancel lease contracts. The statement followed yesterday’s authorities meeting. The Authority said the companies leased the port’s property but did not operate, late in paying a debt at that, "Hooter" newspaper reports citing press-secretary of the seaport Anita Leshkame.
