“URALCHEM” builds the nitrogen fertilizers terminal at the port of Dieppe (France)

URALCHEM JSC has started construction of a nitrogen fertilizers terminal at the port of Dieppe (France). As of now, the construction site, has been prepared, the project adapted to local specifics. "The project has been fully supported by regional authorities, so we do not see any obstacles to its realization. Europe is a strategically important market for URALCHEM company for the sale of nitrogen fertilizers," the company said in an interview with PortNews IAA.

The company has not disclosed project details as yet. According to unconfirmed reports, the annual transshipment rate at the terminal may reach 240 tons, with the investments at 10 million euro.

"United Chemical Company URALCHEM” JSC (JSC URALCHEM) is one of the largest producers of mineral fertilizers in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe. The company is Russia's leading manufacturer of ammonium nitrate, a second Russian company in production volumes of nitrogen fertilizers and the third - in volumes of phosphate fertilizers.
