Shanghai to build free port by 2020

Shanghai municipality plans to build an international free port by 2020 to make the city an international shipping center and an attraction for mainland customers, China Economic Weekly reported Tuesday.
Shanghai municipal government decided to develop the area around the Yanshan bonded port and continue the development to its three-bonded zones and three ports during China's 12th five-year plan (2011-2016).
