Turnover of the port of Riga (Latvia) in January-November 2009 is down 1.3% - to 27.2 million tons
Cargo turnover at the port of Riga (Latvia) over January-November 2009 has decreased by 1.3% compared to the same period of 2008 - up to 27.2 million tons. The volume of transshipment of bulk cargo has fallen by 1.5% - to 17.27 million tons, master by 11,7% - to 3.9 million tons. At the same time, liquid cargo turnover has increased by 23.8% - to 5.99 million tons, the port authorities report reads. 
Last year, the turnover of the port of Riga totaled 25.358 million tons (3.8%).
