Cargo turnover at China ports in January-November 2009 grew by 8% - to 6,33 billion tons

In January-November 2009 freight turnover at the ports of China grew by 8% compared with the same period of 2008 - up to 6.33 billion tons. According to the Ministry of Transport of China cargo turnover at the sea ports increased by 7,7% - to 4.33 billion tons, the river ports at 8,8% - to 1.99 billion tons.
