Port of Gdansk Security Guard named 2009 "Company with a Future"

Over 70 companies contended for the title of "Company with a Future". With over a decade of tradition, the contest is a continuation of the idea of the Pomeranian edition of "Quality Company" and is organized under the auspices of the Governor and Marshall of the Pomeranian Region and the Mayor of Gdansk. On 14 November, the winning laurels in the category "Large Companies" went to Port of Gdansk Security Guard - a company with 100 percent of its shares owned by PGA SA.
The Pomeranian Craft Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises in Gdansk, which gives nominations and champions the strategy of supporting reliable businesses, comprises nearly 2,700 companies. Promotional activities, professional trainings and incentives stimulating innovative solutions as well as awarding best companies are among the effective measures on the Chamber's agenda aimed to boost competitiveness of the Polish business offer on the European Union markets.
