Vladivostok throughput drops 17pc January to October

THROUGHTPUT at Russia's Vladivostok Container Terminal reached 164,770 TEU for the 10 months between January and October - 17 per cent down from the same period last year.

According to the Russian Transport Daily Report, the facility handled 23.255 TEU in October, just 21.3 per cent of the previous month's volume and tended to 42 vessels against September's 48.

Exports for October came in at 8,040 TEU, imports at 6,465 TEU, cabotage at 8,750 TEU, while reefer boxes came to 2,493 TEU.
