OAG's Cargo portal opens to Thai market

OAG CARGO has announced the launch of its airfreight portal for forwarders and airlines based in Thailand through an expansion of its partnership with the company's local general sales agent Trade & Logistics Siam Ltd.

The launch of the new portal is said to represent an increase in activities in the Asia Pacific region for OAG (Official Airline Guide) Cargo. The portal is accessible by logging on to www.oagcargo.com.

Portal users will be able to upload or generate electronic rate sheets, create and distribute quotations to global shippers, access real-time airfreight rate information on a secure network and publish time-sensitive operational announcements. The portal can also be localised to fit the needs of each operation, a company statement said.

"The introduction of the OAG Cargo portal in Thailand provides our global customers and the local air freight community with one place to access important information," said Bart Jan Haasbeek, global sales director of OAG Cargo Solutions.

"We are delivering this through the portal in conjunction with Trade & Logistics Siam as our general sales agent in Thailand, enabling us to build stronger and closer ties with carriers and forwarders in one of the region's major markets."
