MSC to hike rate US$200/FEU from US to Asia from November 16

The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced a rate increase of $150 per TEU and US$200 per FEU for cargo moving though US west, east and Gulf coast ports to Asia from November 16.

Reefer cargo rates from this ports will rise $190 per TEU and $250 per FEU, said the company statement.

Operating 416 ships, Geneva-based MSC is the world's second largest container shipping company after Copenhagen's Maersk Line.
