Rate increases in the Eastern Mediterranean & Black Sea to West Africa

Maersk Line announced rate increases on its Eastern Mediterranean & Black Sea services to West Africa
effective 1 October 2009.
The trading conditions for the carriers operating in these markets are still subject to unacceptable rate levels and the situation is unsustainable in the longer term. The rate increases are necessary to continue to operate Maersk Line services with the high level of reliability its customers have come to expect from Maersk Line.
Eastern Mediterranean & Black Sea to West Africa
- USD 200 per 20' dry container
- USD 360 per 40' dry container
- USD 200 per 20' reefer container
- USD 360 per 40' reefer container
