International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) subsidiary ICTSI Ltd. recently appointed Manuel Fernandez as Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Fernandez brings to the ICTSI Group his experience in a broad range of responsibilities in different business units for companies in Asia, Latin America, and the United States. He has built brands, driven company revenues up, opened new markets, driven top-flight service cultures, and forged strategic business alliances in companies across different industries such as ocean and air transportation, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management.
Before ICTSI, Fernandez was DHL Express’ Senior Vice President for Customer Experience and Real Estate. Prior to DHL, he worked at American President Lines Ltd., and was responsible for the opening of two new services in Central America and one in the west coast of South America. Earlier he spent 12 years with Sealand Service, Inc. in a variety of increasingly responsible roles.
Fernandez holds a degree in Business Administration from Florida International University, and has completed a number of Executive Management courses in Marketing and Supply Chain Management at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and at the University of Tennessee.
