AA Cargo offers cool and cold Environtainer access worldwide

AMERICAN Airlines's AA Cargo, in partnership with Envirotainer, is offering a temperature-controlled service worldwide, which provides three types of container with specific temperature ranges and monitored throughout by staff airline staff.

The LD3, LD7 and the "E" container types can be accommodated in wide-body aircraft, with the "E" type fitting into narrow-bodies planes, reported Newark's Journal of Commerce. Container temperatures can be at a low of between a minus 20 Celsius to a high of plus 20 (or four below to 68 Fahrenheit).

"We invested a significant amount of time in engineering procedures, automation and training to provide high-value perishables reliable, proven service," said AA Cargo president Dave Brooks.
