SOUTHEASTERN China's Fujian province recorded a foreign trade value of US$7.3 billion, down 7.5 per cent year on year but up 4.4 per cent over June, Logistics Week reported.
Export value fell 6.3 per cent year on year, but rose 10 per cent over the previous month to $4.9 billion. Imports dropped 9.9 per cent year on year to $2.4 billion, also falling 5.5 per cent month to month.
From January to July, Fujian's foreign trade value came to $42.2 billion, down 15 per cent year on year. Export value fell 12.9 per cent to $28.4 billion. Import slid 19.2 per cent to $13.8 billion.
