THE Da Chan Bay Terminal One Dongguan Business Seminar recently attracted some 70 wood and furniture import and export companies and representatives from nine shipping companies, who gathered at the "Furniture Avenue" of Dongguan for the seminar.
Shipping lines attending the business seminar included Maersk, MOL, and Zim, that operate at the terminal located in South China's Pearl River Delta. The wood and furniture companies included Dongguan Taisheng Furniture Co Ltd, and Dongguan Guanyu Wood Industry Co, Ltd, as well as Shenzhen Lee Chong Hung Logistics Co Ltd, which used the opportunity to showcase its business at the seminar.
A statement from the terminal's operators said the furniture manufacturers showed "great interest" in the terminal and its current shipping services. "Active questions with special concerns about American shipping services were answered by the Terminal and shipping lines, such as, Maersk, MOL and ZIM. Some wood importers and furniture exporters expressed their wish to cooperate with Da Chan Bay Terminal One for the export and import of their products at the meeting," the release added.
