SCT/CCT Zhongshan Outside Depot Put into Use

Following the official launch of SCT/CCT Dongguan Outside Depot, SCT/CCT Zhongshan Outside Depot was put into use on 1st August, offering another logistics service extended from western Shenzhen port to Zhongshan, marking a step further to connect cargo hinterland.
SCT/CCT Zhongshan Outside Depot is located at Sinotrans Zhongshan Warehouse & Terminals Co.’s Dongli Logistics Container Yard of Zhongshan Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, about 4.5 kilometers to container terminal. It offers cargo owners a 24-hour empty containers pick-up, and empty return container repair services for liners. The service enables empty containers pick-up at Zhongshan and export, which effectively save the cargo owners cost and transportation time comparing to the existing method of Pick-up at Shenzhen. The successful launch of Zhongshan Outside Depot has further expanded Western Shenzhen Port’s service network.

By August, SCT and CCT has set up 4 outside depots in PRD region, including SCT/CCT Shunde RongQi Depot, SCT/CCT Zhongshan Xiaolan Depot, SCT/CCT Dongguan Outside Depot (DOCC), SCT/CCT Zhongshan Outside Depot (Zhongshan Warehouse & Terminals Co. Ltd). With the efficient and professional service on offer, more outside depots are expected to be launching. The expansion concept of Western Shenzhen Port Inland Port is believed to bring more benefits to more cargo owners and liners.
