HONG KONG's No 2 ground handler, Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT), has appointed Daniel Boy as its new general manager.
Mr Boy began with AAT in 2007, but in 2008 worked at SATS HK, the airport's smaller passenger baggage handler.
n AAT statement said Mr Boy has a good grasp of the aviation scene in Hong Kong after having spent the past two and a half years in cargo and baggage handling services at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).
"We have a good team here, which is why I believe the company will continue to hold a high position in quality excellence and customer focus," said Mr Boy.
Mr Boy succeeds ST Tan, who has taken on a new appointment in Beijing, after leading AAT for three and a half years. The board thanked Mr Tan for his "immense contribution" over the years and wished him every success in Beijing.
AAT also welcomed a new executive director, Andrew Lim, who was AAT's CEO from 1998 to 2000, and is currently a member of the AAT board.
AAT is a cargo terminal operator based at HKIA. It started business in July 1998 with 12 customer airlines and now serves 30 with its 400 employees.
