Mexico’s second largest port on the Pacific coast, Guaymas, has announced that it will launch a tender for the partial concession to build, equip and operate a specialised container terminal.
Included in the tender will be a contract to equip the terminal with two gantry cranes and two freight elevator.
The new terminal will have a waterfront surface of 18,720 square metres and a total area of 55,387 square metres.
The estimated cost for the project is US$37.8 million.
