Quadriga selects Kuehne + Nagel for Europe delivery

SWISS logistics giant Kuehne + Nagel has been chosen by Quadriga, a provider of Internet and entertainment services for the hotel industry across Europe and the Middle East, to manage its supply chain and distribute all materials to hotel customers.

Following the completion of an implementation phase, Kuehne + Nagel has been supporting Quadriga through its established hotel logistics service, drawing on the company's experience working with luxury hotel operators, procurement companies and amenity distributors to the hospitality market.

"Kuehne + Nagel is working on behalf of Quadriga to deliver improvements to stock control and overall customer fulfilment," a statement from Kuehne + Nagel said.

Goods are collected from Quadriga's suppliers in the UK and Europe and consolidated at one of Kuehne + Nagel's major distribution centres. Materials are stored there as required to ensure a lean inventory and quick turn around to meet customer orders with a unique parts list for each individual hotel.

Outbound distribution to Quadriga's customers is arranged via road, utilising Kuehne + Nagel's European groupage network.

Said Quadriga supply chain director Paul Wilson: "We have been most impressed by Kuehne + Nagel's operations and we are very confident that as our logistics partner they will continue to add real value to our service offer."
