Net profit of Taganrog Ship Repair Plant totaled RUR 36.9 mln in Q1 09

In the first quarter of 2009, net profit of Taganrog Ship Repair Plant (TSRP OJSC, Rostov region, part of Valars Group) totaled RUR 36.862 mln against RUR 25.809 mln of loss in the same period of 2008, the company reports according to Interfax.

Sales revenue increased 2.7 times to RUR 171.625 mln.

Taganrog Ship Repair Plant handles agricultural goods and heavy fuel oil. Apart from TSRP, Valars group comprises two grain terminals in Russia (Taganrog and Azov), three line silos in Russia and four line silos in Ukraine. Agricultural subdivision handles 340,000 hectares in Russia and Taganrog. Major trade offices are located in Lausanne (Switzerland), Moscow, Taganrog, Kiev (Ukraine) and Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan).
