CEVA Brazil expands Eaton contract

Mar 17, 2008 Logistics

CEVA Logistics said it would handle inbound and outbound logistics operations at Eaton Corp.'s transmission plant in Vainhos, Brazil, under three new contracts.

CEVA will manage raw and finished material movements from Eaton's forging station to the assembly line, storage and transport of finished products, and aftermarket parts distribution. The contracts mark a 30 percent increase in revenue above the existing contract.

Eaton, a diversified U.S. industrial manufacturer, also uses Netherlands-based CEVA as its lead logistics provider in the Asia-Pacific region.
